Job summary

Stantec is recruiting a Senior Process Engineer to deliver process engineering across the Clean Water portfolio in the North West, based in Warrington or Manchester. You will develop treatment solutions and lead calculations, specifications and design documentation through design to delivery.

You will collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams, contribute to optioneering and feasibility, and help develop engineers while strengthening Stantec's water capability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (CEng or IEng) or working towards registration.
• Experience delivering process engineering design for Clean Water projects.
• Good understanding of water treatment processes and engineering principles.
• Experience preparing process calculations, technical reports and design documentation.
• Ability to manage technical tasks and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of UK water industry standards and design requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for process engineering activities across different stages of project development.
• Prepare and review process calculations, technical specifications, design documentation and reports.
• Support optioneering, feasibility assessments and resolution of technical issues as projects progress toward delivery.
• Coordinate design inputs with project managers, clients and engineers from other disciplines.
• Share knowledge, support developing engineers and contribute to technical proposals and wider opportunities.
