Job summary

Stantec is expanding its Clean Water Process Engineering capability across the North West, with exciting opportunities to support significant regional investment. Based in Manchester or Warrington, you’ll join an established Water team delivering projects that improve reliability and performance of water infrastructure.

You’ll take ownership of process engineering delivery on Clean Water projects, from optioneering through to design and implementation, coordinating with multiple disciplines and

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) with a relevant institution.
• Strong UK Clean Water process engineering experience.
• Practical experience in process design and water infrastructure projects.
• Experience owning deliverables in multidisciplinary projects.
• Good knowledge of UK water standards and design principles.
• Confident at communicating technical information to stakeholders.
• Able to mentor less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering delivery on Clean Water projects across the lifecycle.
• Develop process solutions and perform design calculations.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
• Interact with clients, contractors and project managers to build relationships.
• Support and mentor developing engineers and junior team members.
