Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear, part of Babcock International Group, invites applications for a Principal Process Engineer. The role is based at one of our main sites in Warrington, Preston, Leicester, Newbury or Bristol with hybrid working across the UK.

You will lead process engineering across bids and early-stage project definitions within the Business Winning team, shaping technical solutions for national energy, defence and decommissioning programmes, and mentor colleagues while maintaining security

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Engineering degree (or equivalent) with significant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
• Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
• Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
• Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.
