Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Process Engineering Manager to lead complex engineering programmes across the nuclear infrastructure. Based at Warrington or Preston with hybrid working and three days on site, you will guide projects from concept through to delivery and commissioning.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety and quality, and mentor engineers while driving continuous improvement across the lifecycle of critical projects for energy security.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex process-led projects.
• Background in chemical/pharmaceutical/petrochemical or regulated industries.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle from design to delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across multiple disciplines.
• Experience applying governance, safety, quality and technical assurance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Manage activities from concept design through commissioning and delivery.
• Collaborate with customers, stakeholders and project teams to resolve complex challenges.
• Ensure outputs meet safety, quality, regulatory and assurance standards.
• Develop engineering capability via mentoring, resource planning and continuous improvement.
