Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to provide leadership across bids and early-stage project definition within the Business Winning team. Hybrid working arrangements are available at our UK sites, including Warrington, with travel as required.

You will lead process engineering elements of bids, develop scopes and resource plans, ensure quality and compliance, produce technical reports, and mentor others while interfacing with multiple disciplines.

Job description

As a Principal Process Engineer, you will provide process engineering leadership across complex bids and early-stage project definition within our Business Winning team This is a full-time role based at one of our main sites: Warrington (Cheshire), Preston (Lancashire), Leicester (Leicestershire), Newbury (Berkshire), or Bristol with travel to other Cavendish Nuclear and customer locations as required. Hybrid working arrangements are available. Day-to-day you'll be required to:

• Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
• Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
• Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
• Promote engineering best practice and mentor others. Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills., Engineering degree (or equivalent) with significant experience.

The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
