Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process engineering across bids and early‑stage projects. The role is based at one of our UK sites with hybrid working arrangements and travel to customer locations as required.

You will mentor engineers and ensure technical integrity across multi‑discipline bids. The successful candidate will hold an engineering degree, be eligible for Chartered status, and demonstrate senior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
• Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
• Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
• Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.
