Job summary

Cavendish Nuclear is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead process engineering across bids and early-stage projects within the Business Winning team. Hybrid UK work arrangements apply, with sites in Warrington, Preston, Leicester, Newbury and Bristol and travel as required.

You will provide leadership, ensure technical integrity, and mentor others while interfacing with multiple disciplines and stakeholders. A Chartered Engineer or progress towards it is expected.

Qualifications

• Significant demonstrable experience in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it.
• Experience managing teams delivering technical activities.
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Security Clearance: sole UK national able to obtain SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the process engineering elements of bids.
• Develop and deliver engineering scope, schedules and resource plans.
• Ensure technical integrity, compliance, and quality.
• Produce and review technical reports and verification plans.
• Promote engineering best practice and mentor others.
