Job summary

This Senior Storage Engineer role involves hands-on work with storage technologies and cross-functional team collaboration to advance a major tech modernisation program.

You will engage with stakeholders up to exec level, help define roadmaps, and apply secure-by-design principles while contributing to risk management and automation discussions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Storage Engineer in cloud environments.
• Expert knowledge of Storage/SAN technologies (Hitachi, Dell, IBM NetApp).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and storage troubleshooting experience.
• Experience writing technical build documents.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a secure cloud storage platform.
• Analyze, build and deliver infrastructure systems for the private cloud.
• Work with Product Owners & Engineering to shape roadmaps and gather needs.
• Follow secure-by-design principles and contribute to security discussions.
• Manage workload effectively and plan next tasks as priorities shift.
