Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in London is seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join a friendly, established firm. The role offers a varied caseload and flexible hybrid working, with a 3 days in the office / 2 days at home pattern and part-time options for the right candidate.

You will handle wills, LPAs, probate, trusts, and Court of Protection matters, supporting clients and their families with excellent service and independent matter management in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in private client matters including wills and LPAs.
• Strong client care and communication skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently on a varied caseload.
• Experience working with elderly clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle wills and estate planning from instruction to completion.
• Manage Lasting Power of Attorney work.
• Administer probate and estate administration.
• Handle trusts and Court of Protection matters.
• Develop relationships with clients and families.

The Role

• Wills and estate planning
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts and Court of Protection matters
• Managing a varied caseload from instruction to completion
• Building strong relationships with clients and their families

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with relevant Private Client experience
• Ideally 7+ years' PQE, although candidates with 5-6+ years' relevant experience will be considered
• Strong experience across Wills, LPAs, Probate and Estate Administration
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Friendly and approachable, with experience working with elderly clients
• Able to manage matters independently
