Job summary

JS Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor for a multi-office law firm in Royston. You will advise on Wills, Probate, Trusts, and related matters, handling your own varied caseload.

The role includes Deputyships, Advanced Directives, and Court of Protection work, with a focus on client relationships and business development. Hybrid working is available, with a friendly office environment.

Qualifications

• Ideally 2+ years PQE in private client work.
• Ability to manage a varied private client caseload.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage own private client caseload from instruction to completion.
• Advise on Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters.
• Prepare Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
• Administer Estates and Trusts; manage Court of Protection matters.
• Engage in business development for the Private Client Team.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism; comply with regulatory standards.

Private Client Solicitor

Our client a multi-office law firm are now recruiting for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their expanding Private Team. Our client is looking for a Private Client Solicitor to bring a new edge to the firm.

As a Private Client Solicitor, you will become a trusted adviser to a broad range of clients. You will manage your own varied caseload, providing tailored legal advice across a range of private client matters including Wills, Probate , Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Deputyships and Advanced Directives.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own varied Private Client Caseload from Instruction through to completion
• Advising on Wills, Probate and Estate Administration matters
• Preparation of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Administration of Estates and Trusts
• Managing Court of Protection matters
• Tax and Trust Planning
• Deputyships and Advance Directive
• Ensuring compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring client matters and information are kept confidential
• Willing to be involved in Business development for the Private Client Team

Skills & Requirements

• Ideally you will be a Minium of 2 yrs + PQE those that fall outside of this will also be considered
• Excellent client facing skills and the ability to nurture existing clients , as well as the ability to help develop new business and assist in networking events
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability of building effective and trusting relations with people internally and externally to the firm.
• A flexible, adaptable, and positive attitude to work.
