Clayton Legal is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a friendly, progressive law firm in Wakefield. You will manage your own caseload across wills, probate, and related matters, while developing strong client relationships and contributing to the Private Client team's growth.

The role offers hybrid and flexible working, with 5 weeks of annual leave, an approachable culture, and clear progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in wills, estate planning, probate, lasting powers of attorney, Court of Protection applications and trusts.

Responsibilities

My client is a friendly, progressive law firm experiencing continued growth, and they are looking to welcome an experienced and compassionate Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to their expanding team.

You will handle a broad range of private client matters, including:

• Wills and estate planning
• Estate administration and Probate
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Court of Protection applications
• Trusts and taxable estates
• Advising clients on wider estate planning matters

The role would suit a qualified Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 2-3 years' PQE, although candidates with significantly more experience are particularly encouraged to apply.

This is a senior opportunity with the potential to take on management responsibilities, working closely with and reporting directly to the Head Of Department.
