Job summary

Clayton Legal is recruiting a Private Client Lawyer for a busy regional firm with a supportive Private Client team. You will handle wills, LPAs, Court of Protection, trusts, deeds of variation, and inheritance tax planning within a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years PQE or be an experienced solicitor seeking a part-time role (3-4 days per week). Excellent communication, organisational skills and a proactive, empathetic approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience in Private Client law.
• Confident handling a varied caseload independently.
• Technically strong across all aspects of Private Client work.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Proactive, approachable and empathetic.
• Collaborative team player with good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload covering wills, LPAs, Court of Protection, trusts, deeds of variation and inheritance tax planning.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality advice.
• Work collaboratively within the Private Client team to support growth.

An established and growing multi-office regional law firm is looking to recruit a Private Client Lawyer to join its busy and supportive Private Client team. The firm has built a strong reputation across Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas for delivering high-quality legal advice with a personal, client-focused approach.

This opportunity would suit either:

• A Private Client Solicitor/Lawyer with around 3-4 years' PQE looking to progress their career within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment, or
• A more experienced Private Client Solicitor seeking a part-time position (3-4 days per week).

Working alongside the Head of Private Client, you will manage a varied caseload covering:

• Wills
• Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
• Court of Protection
• Trusts
• Deeds of Variation
• Inheritance Tax Planning
