Job summary

Sellick Partnership is representing a well-established law firm seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to manage a broad private client caseload from instruction to completion.

The role covers will drafting, LPAs, probate, estate administration, tax and succession planning, and inheritance tax advice, with the opportunity to build long-term relationships with individuals and families, in a hybrid working environment after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1–6 years' PQE.
• Experience managing a private client caseload.
• Strong technical knowledge across private client matters.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of private client matters from instruction to completion.
• Will drafting, Lasting Power of Attorney, probate and estate administration.
• Tax and succession planning, inheritance tax advice, trust administration.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity for a private client lawyer looking to handle high-quality work within a supportive and collaborative environment.

You will manage your own caseload from instruction through to completion while working alongside experienced practitioners and benefiting from ongoing support, modern systems, and excellent professional development opportunities.

The Opportunity

You'll handle a broad range of private client matters, including:

• Will drafting
• Lasting Powers of Attorney
• Probate and estate administration
• Tax and succession planning
• Inheritance tax advice
• Trust administration matters
• Advising clients on a range of private client issues
• Managing files from instruction through to completion

The role offers a varied caseload, direct client contact, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with individuals and families.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with approximately 1-6 years' PQE
• Have experience managing a private client caseload
• Possess strong technical knowledge across private client matters
• Be able to explain complex legal issues in a clear and practical manner
• Have excellent communication and client care skills
• Be organised with strong attention to detail
• Be capable of managing competing deadlines effectively
• Work well both independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
