Job summary

Teleperformance is seeking an experienced Senior Privacy Manager to lead privacy governance across the UK, Ireland and South Africa. You will collaborate with senior leaders to embed privacy best practices, oversee GDPR compliance, and provide guidance on DSARs, incidents and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Privacy, Risk & Compliance, you will drive risk-based improvements and training across functions.

Qualifications

• Lead and oversee the implementation and ongoing management of privacy frameworks across the business.
• Ensure GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on data protection matters, including DSARs, privacy incidents and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor personal data processing activities, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support privacy audits, regulatory reviews and internal compliance assessments.
• Identify control weaknesses and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring the business remains compliant.
• Deliver privacy awareness initiatives and support mandatory compliance training.
• Prepare management information, reports and updates for senior leadership and global compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the implementation and ongoing management of privacy frameworks across the business.

• Monitor data processing activities for risks and improvements.
• Support privacy audits and regulatory reviews.
• Identify control weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor regulatory developments to stay compliant.
• Deliver privacy awareness initiatives and mandatory training.
• Prepare management information and updates for leadership and global teams.
• Maintain Records of Processing using OneTrust.
• Document controller and processor records; review regularly.
• Identify and document new or amended processing activities.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations and Account Management to keep records accurate.
• Conduct QA reviews and challenge incomplete information.
• Partner with Legal and Business Development to embed privacy in contracts.
• Support contract reviews and negotiations on privacy.
• Provide specialist advice on contractual data protection obligations.
• Support client audits and assurance activities.
• Oversee privacy-related due diligence for suppliers.
• Work with Procurement to ensure compliance checks.
• Review vendor risk assessments and DDQs.
