Job summary

Teleperformance is seeking a Senior Privacy Manager to join the Privacy, Risk & Compliance team in the United Kingdom. You will lead the design and strengthening of data privacy frameworks across the UK, Ireland and South Africa, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust governance.

Working with senior stakeholders across HR, IT, Legal and Operations, you will provide expert guidance on GDPR, DSARs and privacy incidents, while embedding privacy best practices and delivering awareness initiatives

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the implementation and ongoing management of privacy frameworks across the business.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR and other applicable data protection legislation.
• Provide expert guidance on data protection matters, including Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs), privacy incidents and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor personal data processing activities, identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Support privacy audits, regulatory reviews and internal compliance assessments.
• Identify control weaknesses and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring the business remains compliant.
• Deliver privacy awareness initiatives and support mandatory compliance training.
• Prepare management information, reports and updates for senior leadership and global compliance teams.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive Records of Processing (ROP) using OneTrust.
• Ensure Controller and Processor records are appropriately documented and regularly reviewed.
• Identify and document new or amended personal data processing activities.
• Work collaboratively with IT, Operations and Account Management to maintain accurate records.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews and challenge incomplete or inaccurate information.
• Partner with Legal, Business Development and Account Management teams to ensure appropriate data privacy provisions are incorporated into client contracts.
• Support contract reviews, amendments and negotiations relating to privacy requirements.
• Provide specialist advice on contractual data protection obligations.
• Support client audits, compliance assessments and assurance activities.
• Oversee privacy-related due diligence for new and existing suppliers.
• Work closely with local and global Procurement teams to ensure appropriate compliance checks are completed.
• Review vendor risk assessments and due diligence questionnaires.
