WSP Global Inc. in Exeter is seeking a Senior or Principal Engineer to lead highway, traffic and civil projects. You will supervise a team, mentor junior colleagues and drive delivery from design through construction, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams across the UK and with clients.

The role emphasizes managing projects to deadlines and budgets, with a focus on sustainable and active travel solutions and ensuring high-quality reporting and documentation.

Formación

• Experience in highway, traffic and civil engineering projects with emphasis on sustainable and active travel.
• Ability to manage projects and individuals, prioritise deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Chartered or Incorporated status preferred; progression towards qualification considered.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on traffic engineering projects, managing all aspects from TRO production to signage placement.
• Act as Technical Design Lead and Project Manager to safeguard local transport networks.
• Line manage team members and mentor junior staff.
• Prepare and review reports, drawings and schedules per local procedures.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and with clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver projects to client satisfaction, on time and on budget.
• Provide construction supervision for schemes.
