Job summary

Copello Global Ltd. is seeking a Senior/Principal Structural Analysis Engineer in Bristol for a permanent hybrid role. You will perform static strength analysis on metallic and composite aerospace structures and develop FE models to validate designs throughout the lifecycle.

You will produce stress reports, support testing, and apply industry references while coordinating with design, manufacturing and customers. UK SC clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant structural analysis experience required.
• Experience with FEA and CAD tools; knowledge of metallic/composite materials.

Responsibilities

• Carry out static strength analysis of metallic and composite aerospace structures.
• Build, run and post-process FEA models using Nastran, ANSYS and Altair.
• Analyse components, sub-assemblies and full airframe load cases.
• Produce high-quality stress reports and structural substantiation.
• Support structural testing with predictions and result correlation.
• Apply Roark, Niu, Bruhn, MMPDS and ESDU references.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, test teams, customers and suppliers.
• Plan and manage workload, estimates and delivery timescales.

Location: Bristol, UK – Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week on-site)

Join a growing aerospace engineering team working on mission-critical technology across Defence, Security and Space. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to manufacturing and structural testing.

This is a hands‑on role where your analysis will directly influence the design and performance of cutting‑edge aerospace structures.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out static strength analysis of metallic and composite aerospace structures.

What We’re Looking For
