Stantec’s Environmental Team is working closely with our clients to develop innovative, sustainable, and efficient solutions by applying new ways of working. We seek driven individuals who think differently and challenge conventional thinking to join our growing, collaborative team of engineers addressing industry-wide environmental challenges.
We are seeking a Senior or Principal Environmental Adviser / Scientist, ideally in our Newcastle, Leeds, or Reading office, but we consider applicants from elsewhere in the UK. Part-time working options are also available. This role offers career progression within an ambitious team.
Your responsibilities include supporting project environmental objectives, conducting environmental planning reports, EIAs, management studies, and audits, and managing environmental and sustainability issues.
About You
You should hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Environmental Management, Impact Assessment, Science, or Planning, accredited by CIWEM, IEMA, or RTPI. You should demonstrate experience as an Environmental Advisor, with knowledge of EIAs, environmental management, and data analysis using GIS. Knowledge of ecology, flood risk, town planning, or water resources is beneficial.
