About the Role

WSP is involved in several significant nuclear projects including Sizewell C, Hinkley Point C, Rolls Royce Raynesway redevelopment, Sellafield decommissioning, and the UK Geological Disposal Programme.

We are seeking experienced consultants in the nuclear sector to join our Environmental Permitting & Nuclear Regulation Team at a Senior or Principal Consultant level. You will support projects across the nuclear lifecycle, including new build, decommissioning, and geological disposal, offering opportunities for career development through diverse and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support licensing, permitting, and regulation activities for nuclear sites.
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects, including proposal development, client engagement, and project delivery.
  • Mentor junior team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Strong understanding of nuclear safety, regulation, and environmental issues.
  • Experience with nuclear legislation, licensing, and compliance.
  • Proven track record in nuclear safety, environmental management, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Membership of a relevant professional body is advantageous.
Location

Roles can be based in London, Manchester, Glasgow, Reading, Bristol, Cardiff, Leeds, Carlisle, Birmingham, or Newcastle.
