Job summary

Hastings Direct in the UK is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to lead complex pricing investigations and analytics. You will own end-to-end analysis and collaborate with developers to embed new tools within the YouDrive analytics team.

You will communicate findings to technical and business stakeholders, coordinate pricing changes, and mentor junior analysts. A strong Python/SQL background and UK insurance knowledge are essential; the role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience in data investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Proven end-to-end delivery of projects and investigations.
• Experience supporting and developing junior analysts.
• Experience of UK insurance, motor or general would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and lead on the resolution of pricing issues and incidents.
• Build and enhance tooling to support pricing analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with developers to embed new tooling in the pricing team.
• Communicate complex findings clearly across technical and business audiences.
• Coordinate implementation and post-live validation of pricing changes.
