Vintage.com is seeking a Metal Processing & Casting Specialist/Senior Smelter to safely operate and oversee melting and casting of gold and silver materials. You will manage high‑value feeds, maintain precise records, and mentor colleagues to sustain safe, efficient foundry output.

The role emphasizes accuracy, process improvement, and strong adherence to safety standards in a technically demanding environment.

Qualifications

• Strong practical metallurgy or foundry experience with high-temperature metal processing.
• Ability to identify processing, equipment or safety issues and take action.
• Experience with precious metals recovery and assay sample handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate induction and gas-fired melting furnaces to process complex scrap and high-value feedstock.
• Monitor heat cycles, adjust controls, and manage slag and impurities.
• Skim and pour to cast high-grade bars, ensuring accurate records.
• Maintain melt logs, weights, samples and equipment condition.
• Coach junior smelters and share technical knowledge across the team.
