Role: Senior Pre-Sales Solutions EngineerLocation: Milton Keynes (Hybrid)Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + Car Allowance

The Role:We're looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support the sales team in delivering best-in-class technical solution design and client proposals. You'll play a key role in scoping projects, completing IT audits, and supporting client meetings with your technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define scope, goals, and deliverables for complex IT projects

• Translate business needs into technical specifications and Bill of Materials

• Collaborate with sales to prepare proposals and supporting documentation

• Attend client meetings to provide technical input and handle queries

• Conduct detailed IT audits and recommend tailored solutions

• Develop business cases for new technologies and service enhancements

• Mentor colleagues and contribute to team development

• Stay up-to-date with industry and technology trends

Experience & Skills:

• Pre-sales, solution scoping, and technical planning experience

• Strong background as a field engineer in SME environments

• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience supporting multi-site clients and working to SLAs

• Expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, Exchange, Teams

• Hands-on with Hyper-V/VMware, Active Directory, Endpoint Management

• Skilled in SAN/NAS storage, LAN/WAN, VPNs, Firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Sophos)

• Familiar with server hardware, RAID, and virtualization platforms

• Able to plan and support large-scale infrastructure migrations

• Strong problem-solving and project delivery skills
