Job summary

Line Management Group Ltd. is seeking a Pre-Sales/Pre-Construction Design Lead to drive design, costing and bid efforts across smart building projects in enterprise, hospitality, residential and data centre sectors.

You will lead cross-functional bid teams, develop technical and commercial proposals and ensure seamless handover to delivery teams post-award, with emphasis on collaboration and senior stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales, bid management or pre-construction design.
• Strong knowledge of smart building technologies (cabling, networking, security, AV, IoT).
• Ability to design multi-technology solutions in a construction environment.
• Ability to produce and analyse costing models and proposals.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of tender processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage opportunities through full bid and pre-construction process.
• Produce high-quality technical and commercial proposals.
• Take ownership of tenders from enquiry through award and handover.
• Collaborate with internal teams including sales, operations, delivery and procurement.
• Attend client meetings, site surveys and presentations.
• Deliver clear technical and commercial presentations.
• Prepare and manage supporting bid documentation and designs.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth handover of projects to delivery teams.
