Job summary

Optima Site Solutions Ltd in London seeks a BMS & Smart Building Systems Project Manager to lead design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover of complex building technology projects.

You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budgets and schedules, and ensure compliance with contract, quality and client requirements.

Experience with EMS, smart building tech, and BACnet/Modbus is preferred; a strong leadership and communication track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven BMS project management and building services integration experience.
• EMS, smart building technology and structured cabling delivery knowledge.
• Experience with BACnet/Modbus and IP networks.
• Ability to plan, cost control, procure, manage subcontractors and commissioning.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage programmes, resources, procurement, budgets and risks.
• Coordinate HVAC controls, panels, devices, graphics and analytics; BACnet/Modbus integration.
• Oversee IoT, lighting, sensors, data exchange and cybersecurity interfaces.
• Review drawings, schedules, submissions and design clashes.
• Supervise subcontractors, costs, valuations and final accounts.
• Lead testing, handover, site inspections and client training.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and main/MEP contractors; manage changes.
