Job summary

Zesty Work in Slough, United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Smart Buildings Solutions Designer to join the Pre-Sales Bids team. You will design, scope and cost security solutions for major design-and-build projects, covering enterprise, data centers and campuses.

In this role you will contribute to pre-sales activities including ITT/RFP responses, bid presentations, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling and accurate designs.

Qualifications

• Five or more GCSEs with Maths or English.
• 5 years of relevant practical experience in a similar pre-sales security design role.
• Experience designing security solutions for enterprise, data centers and campuses.
• Familiarity with ITT/RFP, RFIs, and bid presentations.
• Knowledge of Smart Building systems and ICT/IoT architecture.
• Accreditations or memberships in Smart Buildings bodies.

Responsibilities

• Design and scope security solutions for major design and build projects.
• Costing and estimation as part of the pre-sales process.
• Work within the Pre-Sales Bids team on bid documents and presentations.

About the job:

As a Senior Smart Buildings Solutions Designer in the Pre-Sales Bids team, you will take on designing, scoping and the costing of security solutions for the business. This role covers all aspects of the pre-sales process, requiring experience in infrastructure design and costing of major design and build projects.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ITT/RFP, RFIs, and mid/post bid presentations.
• Minimum five A*-C (4-9) GCSE's or equivalent, including Maths or English.
• 5 years relevant practical experience in a similar role.
• Smart Building systems that operate over electronic security experience
• Experience in the design and build of security solutions (Axis, Avigilon, Milestone, Honeywell, Zenitel, Commend etc.)
• Accreditations or memberships of relevant bodies within the Smart Buildings industry.
• Experience in the design and build of security solutions for enterprise, data center and campus fit-out projects.
• Awareness of Audio Visual, ICT Infrastructure, IoT, and Wired & Wireless Network architecture.
