Kaluza, the Energy Intelligence Platform, is hiring a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer to join the Growth team in London or Bristol. You’ll own and deliver demos, configure tailored demonstrations, and respond to client technical questions, helping close deals for large energy retailers.

You’ll collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering, lead PoC projects, and translate client requirements into feasible solutions while ensuring technical rigor and clear documentation for post-sale teams.

Qualifications

• Software development experience in a regulated industry using TypeScript
• Experience architecting solutions on AWS
• Confidence explaining event-driven architectures and asynchronous APIs
• Experience in a commercial or client-facing technical role, selling SaaS
• Ability to distil complex concepts into clear points and resolve differing opinions with empathy
• Autonomous work across multiple opportunities and data-driven success metrics

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver demo activities for small to mid-size opportunities, including tailored product demonstrations
• Support technical delivery on complex deals with senior team members
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope solutions and communicate trade-offs
• Lead or contribute to PoC projects reflecting client needs and measurable outcomes
• Represent the Pre-Sales function in internal planning and alignment sessions
• Document and share learnings from client engagements and product feedback
