Job summary

Kaluza is seeking an Engineering Manager in the UK to lead engineering teams (up to 10 direct reports) across London, Bristol or Edinburgh with a hybrid layout (3+ days in the office). You will guide the technical roadmap, collaborate with clients, product managers and client success, and drive delivery excellence in a cross-functional setup.

You will be responsible for nurturing talent, performance management, and aligning teams with business goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Engineering Management or related role working with high performing cross functional teams.
• Mentor and grow engineers within your teams.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients by listening and communicating openly.
• Understanding of Agile and lean development principles.
• Knowledge of modern tech including event-driven systems such as Kafka.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders across the business.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams up to 10 direct reports and guide technical roadmap.
• Partner with clients, product managers and client success to deliver value.
• Nurture engineering talent, manage performance and align with delivery objectives.
• Contribute to technical discussions and provide big-picture context.
• Champion operational excellence and unblock the team to meet delivery goals.
