Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS foundation Trust in Birmingham is looking for a Band 8a Senior Practitioner Psychologist to join the Neurodevelopmental Pathway (Autism Assessment Service) specialist psychology team. The role involves assessing children with neurodevelopmental needs across the Birmingham catchment and working within a multidisciplinary team.

You will supervise and support colleagues, contribute to research and audits, and help develop policy within the service.

Mansioni

• Provide specialist psychological assessment of children using diverse data sources including assessments, self-reported measures and observations.
• Formulate and implement plans for formal psychological treatment and/or management based on a conceptual framework.
• Implement a range of psychological interventions for children, carers, families and groups across teams; refine formulations as needed.
• Utilise knowledge of SEND processes and education agenda in practice.
