Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for a Senior Power Systems Engineer to lead and deliver PLEXOS-based studies, support the energy transition with renewables and decarbonisation projects, and collaborate with experts across the Power Systems Team.

You will write and review technical reports and proposals, manage client relationships, mentor junior staff, and contribute to bids while maintaining delivery quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
• Experience in power systems consulting.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of PLEXOS and other power system tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting work on power systems studies focusing on PLEXOS.
• Provide technical and project management leadership.
• Ensure high-quality delivery of reports and proposals.
• Build and maintain key client relationships to secure future work.
• Lead development of project proposals and integrate multi-disciplinary services.
• Lead on excellence in PLEXOS with experience in DIgSILENT/PSCAD/IPSA/CDEG.
