Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Power Systems Consultant to lead PLEXOS-based studies and related analysis for decarbonisation projects. You will collaborate with the WSP Power Systems Team to deliver high-quality technical solutions and client-ready reports.

You will provide technical leadership, work on client relationships, and contribute to proposal development while mentoring team members. A degree in electrical engineering with a power systems focus is essential, with experience in

Qualifications

A Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialisation.
Experience in power systems consulting.
A network of industry contacts and clients.
Proactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirements.
Focus on quality and ability to work on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Deliver consulting work related to power systems studies focused on PLEXOS-based studies while supporting other power system studies.
Provide technical and project management leadership to support successful delivery.
Ensure technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports and proposals.
Build and maintain key client relationships to position power systems services and secure future business.
Lead development and delivery of project proposals and identify areas for multi-disciplinary collaboration.
Lead on excellence in PLEXOS and experience with DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD, IPSA or CDEG.
