Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power Systems engineer to lead and deliver a range of power systems studies and client-facing work in the UK & Ireland. You will bid and win projects, support and train team members, and contribute to high-quality reports and proposals.

You will develop technical reports, engage with clients, and maintain relationships while working within a hybrid model across the UK offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
• Experience in power systems consulting.
• Ability to develop and review technical reports and proposals.
• Proactive and motivated to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting work related to power systems studies and analysis, especially control interaction studies.
• Provide technical and project management leadership to support project delivery.
• Ensure technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports and proposals.
• Build and maintain key client relationships to position services and secure future work.
• Lead development and delivery of project proposals and identify multisdisciplinary opportunities.
• Lead on excellence in power systems software packages (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, CDEGs, etc.).
