Job summary

WSP is seeking a Power Systems consultant to lead and deliver PLEXOS-based studies, shaping the energy transition with innovative modelling and client engagement.

You will work with the WSP Power Systems Team to deliver high-quality technical analyses, reports and proposals while building strong client relationships and contributing to bids and project delivery in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
• Experience in power systems consulting.
• A network of industry contacts and clients.
• Proactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirements.
• Focus on quality and ability to work in fast-paced environments with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting work related to power systems studies, focused on PLEXOS-based studies, and support other studies by the WSP Power Systems Team.
• Provide technical and project management leadership to support successful delivery.
• Ensure technical quality of project reports, proposals and deliverables.
• Build and maintain client relationships to position power systems services and secure future business.
• Lead development and delivery of project proposals and identify opportunities for integrated services.
