Job summary
Macstaff is seeking a Senior/Principal Power Systems Engineer for data centre and critical infrastructure projects in the UK. Based from Manchester or London with hybrid working 2-3 days per week, you will lead complex power system studies and deliver robust LV/MV/HV solutions across international clients.
The role blends advanced technical design with project leadership, client interaction and mentoring of junior engineers, with a highly competitive package and clear progression within a global
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Chartered Engineer status or progressing towards chartership desired.
- Experience in power systems design, analysis and project delivery.
- Strong in load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc flash and transient studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex power system studies and electrical network analysis.
- Deliver load flow and short circuit / fault level studies.
- Complete protection coordination and discrimination studies.
- Undertake arc flash assessments and transient analysis.
- Develop LV, MV and HV distribution solutions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
