Job summary

Macstaff is seeking a Senior / Principal Power Systems Engineer for hybrid roles in London or Manchester. You will lead complex studies, develop robust LV/MV/HV distribution solutions and mentor engineers, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on high-value data centre projects.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Chartered Engineer or progressing toward chartership.
Experience in power systems design and project delivery.
Proficient with ETAP, SKM, DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
Experience in data centres or critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead complex power system studies and network analysis.
Deliver load flow, short-circuit and protection coordination studies.
Undertake arc flash assessments and transient analysis.
Develop LV/MV/HV distribution solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior engineers.
Provide technical leadership at principal level.
