Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a Power Systems engineer to lead and deliver a range of power systems studies and analysis, including control interaction studies, and to develop client relationships. You will contribute to bids, train team members, and ensure high-quality delivery of reports and proposals while working across multi-disciplinary teams in a hybrid UK setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialisation.
• Experience in power systems consulting.
• A network of industry contacts and clients.
• Proactive and highly motivated to meet customer requirements.
• Focus on quality and delivering excellent project reports and proposals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting work on power systems studies and analysis, especially control interaction studies.
• Provide technical and project management leadership to support project delivery.
• Ensure technical quality of reports and proposals.
• Build and maintain client relationships to position services and secure future work.
• Lead development and delivery of project proposals and explore multidisciplinary opportunities.
• Lead on power systems software excellence (DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, etc.).
