Job summary

WSP UK & Ireland is seeking a Power Systems consultant to lead and deliver power systems studies, write technical reports, review proposals, and maintain client relationships across projects in the energy sector.

You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, identify opportunities in bids, and ensure high quality deliverables. The role offers development through Chartership, mentoring, and a culture of inclusion across our UK offices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization.
• Experience in power systems consulting.
• A network of industry contacts and clients.

Responsibilities

• Delivering consulting work related to power systems studies and analysis.
• Providing technical and project management leadership to support the project team.
• Ensuring technical quality of delivery of power systems projects, reports and proposals.
• Building and maintaining key client relationships to position power systems services.
• Leading the development and delivery of project proposals and identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Lead on excellence in power systems software packages (e.g. DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSS/E, ETAP, PSCAD, IPSA, CDEGs).
