Job summary

SubSea Craft Limited in the UK is seeking a Portfolio Analyst/PMO professional to turn outcome, schedule, cost and workforce data into actionable insights for senior leadership decision-making.

Reporting to the Head of Portfolio Control, you will strengthen data capture, hygiene and reporting, drive continuous improvement, and support governance boards across multiple engineering and defence programmes, engaging with senior stakeholders to align plans, risks, and financials.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a portfolio analyst/PMO role within engineering, marine, shipbuilding, defence or similar complex delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of portfolio governance, scheduling, cost tracking, dependency management and performance reporting.
• Attention to detail with focus on data accuracy, hygiene and consistency of reporting.
• Able to collaborate with diverse, time-constrained teams using emotional intelligence.
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather KPI, schedule, cost, risk, dependency and workforce data to maintain dashboards and produce actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Support portfolio governance, financial controls, and delivery frameworks to keep initiatives aligned to scope, schedule and budget.
• Collaborate across teams to identify, assess and categorise new initiatives, providing visibility of portfolio demand and priorities.
• Act as a bridge between program teams, risk managers, finance and senior stakeholders to align plans and information.
• Drive portfolio maturity and continuous improvement in data capture, reporting standards and schedules.
• Coordinate portfolio reporting, analyse performance trends, and support governance boards and senior reviews.
• Capture and maintain visibility of interdependencies for critical path analysis, milestones and forecasts.
