Job summary

CFC Underwriting is looking for a PMO Analyst to support governance and delivery across a growing portfolio of strategic change initiatives in London. You will help embed consistent delivery frameworks, controls, reporting standards and best practices.

Working with the PMO Lead and Project Managers, you will ensure accurate portfolio information, stage-gate readiness, and clear dashboards for senior leaders, with strong analytical and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a PMO, project support or delivery role across multiple initiatives.
• Understanding of stage gates, RAID management, status reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide insights.
• Proficient with Excel, SharePoint and Microsoft Lists; Power BI experience an advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain governance framework for projects and portfolio.
• Run core PMO processes such as stage gates, approvals and controls.
• Maintain portfolio RAID logs and other controls, highlighting risks and delivery concerns.
• Prepare portfolio reports and dashboards for leaders, showing progress and benefits.
• Consolidate project updates into a single, reliable view of portfolio performance for senior forums.
• Own and improve PMO tools (SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, Power BI) to keep data accurate.
• Keep portfolio documentation organized and easily accessible for teams.
• Coordinate assurance reviews, health checks, and stage-gate readiness.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Analysts to improve planning and reporting quality.
• Create concise packs for steering committees and governance forums.
• Identify and deliver improvements to PMO processes and reporting.
• Support resource and capacity planning, demand analysis, portfolio financials and benefits tracking.
