Job summary

Greater Manchester Combined Authority is seeking a Senior Policy & Partnership Officer to shape policies and partnership activity across GM, with a focus on gender-based violence and victims' portfolios alongside broader priorities. You will work with local authorities, public sector partners and communities to deliver priority programmes.

The role involves researching issues, coordinating projects, and providing high-quality advice to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience in policy development and partnership work.
• Ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience coordinating projects and programmes.
• Ability to build networks and work with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation and monitoring of policies and partnerships.
• Collaborate with local authorities, public sector partners and community groups.
• Research issues, analyse information, and prepare reports and recommendations.
• Manage projects and work programmes to deliver priorities.
• Develop networks to support shared objectives and improve outcomes.
• Monitor legislation and best practice to inform policy.
