Job summary

Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Avon and Somerset is recruiting a Policy, Partnerships and Commissioning Manager to shape policy, partnerships and commissioning for victims support and crime prevention across the region.

The role oversees exploitation services, grant funding portfolios and the Young Victims Service, delivering outcomes in collaboration with local authorities and criminal justice partners. Hybrid working with 20% at Portishead.

Qualifications

• Experience commissioning, contract management or grant oversight.
• Strong partnership and stakeholder management across organisations.
• Experience monitoring performance and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to analyse information, interpret evidence and use insights for decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; report writing to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead on commissioning, performance oversight and development of Exploitation Services with local authority partners.
• Oversee grant funding programmes and governance for outcomes.
• Manage PCC Community Fund and other grant streams.
• Oversee Young Victims Service commissioning, contracts and performance.
• Provide policy, partnership and strategic support across priorities.
• Build relations with local authorities, criminal justice, voluntary and community partners.
