Animal and Plant Health Agency is seeking a Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager to lead a large, complex APHA programme, establishing standards, controls and reporting to drive delivery against agreed outcomes.

You will provide PMO advice and challenge throughout the lifecycle, from business case through delivery and benefits realisation, develop the PMO team and maintain governance, planning, risk and financial management to enable senior decision-making.

Qualificações

• Experience of leading a PMO function in a complex project, programme or portfolio environment.
• Strong knowledge of programme controls: planning, governance, assurance, reporting, risks, issues and change control.
• Significant experience in financial management: budgets, forecasting and cost monitoring.
• Experience supporting business cases, benefits and resource management.
• Ability to turn complex information into clear reporting and recommendations for senior decisions.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the PMO function and develop the PMO team with clear standards and priorities.
• Establish and enhance controls for plans, milestones, risks, issues and reporting.
• Maintain governance, coordinate assurance and support decision-making.
• Oversee integrated planning, milestone reporting and performance information for senior leaders.
• Set standards for risk, issue and dependency management and link to delivery plans.
• Support business cases, benefits tracking and prioritisation for investment decisions.
• Coordinate budgets, forecasts and resource information with finance and delivery teams.
• Engage stakeholders, partners and functions to enable delivery.
• Improve PMO processes and share best practices across APHA.
• Provide credible delivery support to turn strategy into outcomes.
