Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead PMO activities at Devonport Royal Dockyard, overseeing a complex portfolio of digital and infrastructure projects. You will establish governance, controls and portfolio visibility for senior leaders and customers.

You will drive strategic planning, manage risks and dependencies, and foster continuous improvement while delivering value in a highly regulated environment. This full-time role is based on site.

Qualifications

• Experience leading PMO functions within complex project environments.
• Strong governance, assurance and project controls experience.
• Experience managing risks, schedules, budgets and inter-project dependencies.
• Proven ability to engage and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering digital, IT, infrastructure or transformation programmes in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO activities across the Data & Digital Infrastructure portfolio.
• Establish governance, project controls and assurance frameworks.
• Monitor performance, budgets, forecasts, risks and dependencies with corrective actions.
• Produce and present portfolio reporting to senior leaders and customers.
• Drive continuous improvement and build PMO / project controls capability.
