Job summary

Jonathan Lee Group is seeking a Senior PLM Analyst based in the UK to own and optimize PLM and CAD data across the engineering and manufacturing teams. You will lead Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter activities, ensuring data quality and enabling efficient workflows.

You will act as the SME for CAD/PLM tools, deliver effective training, and manage enhancements from testing through deployment, while coordinating with third-party vendors for system issues.

Qualifications

• Proven PLM and data management experience, automotive background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter workflows and attribute mapping.
• Experience with CAD tools, preferably Siemens NX; understands end-to-end design.
• Experience in user support, training delivery, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management of Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM for design teams.

Senior PLM Analyst

This Senior PLM Analyst role is a fantastic opportunity to lead the day-to-day performance of Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM systems, strengthen data quality, and empower design and wider technical teams through smart workflows and practical training. The Senior PLM Analyst position offers meaningful impact, strong technical variety, and real responsibility from day one.

What You Will Do as Senior PLM Analyst:

• Own the day-to-day management of Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM to support mechanical and controller design teams, plus manufacturing, quality, metrology and procurement.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for core CAD and PLM tools, ensuring confident usage and consistently high data quality.
• Drive PLM ticketing and regular reviews, removing blockers and improving the user experience over time.
• Deliver user guidance, procedures, and online or instructor-led training to embed best practices across the business.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements for new or improved PLM and CAD processes, then lead testing and deployment of enhancements.
• Maintain legacy CAD and PDM data within SolidWorks environments and collaborate with third-party vendors to resolve system issues.

What You Will Bring as Senior PLM Analyst;

• Proven experience in PLM and data management, ideally with an automotive or closely related background.
• Strong knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter workflows, including B.M.I.D.E, advanced workflow design, attribute mapping, and workflow troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting and operating CAD tools (preferably Siemens NX) and understanding engineering design processes end to end.
• Demonstrable capability in user support, documentation, and training delivery, turning complex concepts into clear guidance.
• Proven project ownership, with experience planning, testing, and supporting data migration or system configuration changes.
