Job summary

YASA in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior PLM Analyst to lead Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM deployments and oversee legacy systems. You will partner with design, manufacturing, quality, metrology and procurement teams to ensure data quality and system effectiveness.

The role requires 5+ years in PLM with automotive experience, strong training delivery skills, and a hands-on approach to improving CAD processes and data management. Hybrid working arrangements may be available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of specialised PLM experience with project ownership.
• Strong understanding of PLM systems in an automotive context and data management.
• Experience with Teamcenter BIMDE and advanced workflow design.
• Experience setting up dispatchers and resolving workflow issues.
• Good understanding of NX CAD system operation and engineering design.
• Experience delivering user support, guidance documentation, and training.
• Skilled in project planning, system testing, and data migration.
• Hybrid project management blending agile and waterfall approaches.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across seniority levels.
• Knowledge of CAD release, BOM structures and change management.
• Ability to specify CAD hardware such as workstations and servers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day management of Siemens NX CAD and Teamcenter PLM systems, supporting design and manufacturing teams.
• Act as the SME, leading engineers in applying core CAD and PLM tools to ensure data quality and proficiency.
• Own the PLM Team ticket system and conduct regular reviews.
• Deliver user guidance, online and instructor-led training to promote best practices.
• Generate procedures and work instructions to assist in system use.
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements to drive CAD/PLM improvements.
• Lead development, testing, and deployment of new or enhanced tools to meet requirements.
• Maintain legacy CAD and PDM data within the SolidWorks environment.
• Support IT in hardware and software upgrades and testing.
• Liaise with 3rd party vendors to resolve issues.
• Conduct code reviews and raise the team's technical capability.
• Research and maintain knowledge of latest PLM/CAD technologies.
• Look after legacy systems.
