Job summary

Willis Towers Watson is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (SaaS) to lead and grow a global engineering team focused on the ICT Platform Infrastructure. You will contribute to Azure-based, containerised microservices and scalable SaaS cloud services, while guiding best practices and development across the lifecycle.

You will work in an Agile environment, shaping platform capabilities, and collaborating with application teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing management and controlplane capabilities for SaaS applications.
• Experience with Azure stamp-based or multi-region architectures and automated stamp lifecycle management.
• Full SaaS development lifecycle experience: requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, operations, monitoring, and incident management.
• Strong fundamentals in object-oriented design, design patterns, SOLID, and Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input, guidance and leadership to the team.
• Assist in designing solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead by example with hands-on development and best practices for maintainability, testability and performance.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies and continuously improve team velocity and engineering practices.
• Coach and mentor colleagues to foster a collaborative engineering culture.
