Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead DevOps transformation, focusing on migrating from Azure DevOps to GitHub, and delivering standardized CI/CD pipelines and IaC-based infrastructure on Azure.

You will act as SME for DevOps tooling, integration with Snowflake/Databricks, and embedding security and governance across platform services. Hybrid work and strong development experience expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• 6+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong cloud experience with Azure and containerized workloads.
• Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tooling.
• Experience migrating from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
• Proven governance, auditability and compliance focus in large environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps transformation including Azure DevOps to GitHub migration.
• Design and implement standardised CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Develop IaC solutions using Terraform, Bicep or equivalent.
• Deliver scalable cloud-native platforms on Azure with cost efficiency.
• Embed security controls in pipelines (Veracode, SAST/DAST).
• Enable internal developer platform capabilities and self-service templates.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
