Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is recruiting for a software engineer to work on data and trading platform services in a hybrid London setting. You will contribute to the end-to-end delivery of features, maintaining code quality and collaborating with tech leads and traders.

The role emphasizes strong C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core, SQL proficiency, and experience with Git/CI/CD, with exposure to Azure cloud and modern tooling. Hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• Around 2–6 years of commercial software engineering with strong C# and .NET experience.
• Solid ASP.NET Core including DI, configuration, middleware, authentication and async/await.
• Competent SQL and data modeling concepts; strong testing discipline.

Responsibilities

• Deliver features end-to-end: C# service code, Angular UI, Terraform, and pipelines to production.
• Build and maintain integrations with trading platforms via REST, events and batch feeds.
• Write unit/integration tests and maintain CI/CD pipelines; support production issues.
