Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, delivery and evolution of CI/CD capabilities across the enterprise. You will drive the Azure DevOps to GitHub transition, platform tooling, and integration with Snowflake and Databricks, while embedding security and reliability into pipelines.

You will mentor engineers, promote standardisation, and enable self-service capabilities within an enterprise governance framework, with hybrid working and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead DevOps transformation initiatives, incl. migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions to provision cloud infrastructure.
• Deliver and optimise cloud-native platforms on Azure for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Embed security controls into pipelines and platform services.
• Enable and support DevOps practices for data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks).
• Implement observability, monitoring, and SRE practices (SLIs/SLOs).
• Drive platform standardisation and self-service tooling for developer experience.
