Job summary

Janus Henderson Investors is seeking a Senior Engineer in Platform Engineering to lead the design and delivery of CI/CD capabilities, focusing on Azure DevOps-to-GitHub migration, IaC tooling, and secure, scalable cloud platforms. You will drive security, automation, and self-service across engineering teams.

You will mentor juniors, collaborate with AI/Architecture/Cloud teams, and support governance, compliance, and audit processes within a hybrid work environment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years in platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure roles.
• Strong cloud experience with Azure preferred.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

Responsibilities

• Lead migration from Azure DevOps to GitHub and standardised CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions with Terraform, Bicep, or similar.
• Deliver and optimise Azure cloud platforms for scalability and cost-efficiency.
• Embed security controls in pipelines using Veracode and other tools.
• Enable DevOps for Snowflake and Databricks with CI/CD integration.
• Promote platform standardisation and self-service capabilities.
