Allan Webb Ltd seeks an experienced Deputy Platform Lead Author to join our Technical Publications team, focusing on Leonardo Helicopters platforms. The role combines leadership duties with hands-on technical authoring on high-profile defence projects.

Based UK-wide with occasional visits to Yeovil or Stonehouse, you will cover platform leadership in the Lead Author's absence and manage authoring tasks across EPS, Helix, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Senior author with minimum 3 years' experience on Leonardo platforms
• Strong knowledge of rotary wing aircraft and technical guidance for authors
• Proficient with Eagle/EPS for up-issuing and task data modules
• Proficient with Helix to task and assess authors
• Educated to HNC level or equivalent/engineering apprenticeship with aircraft maintenance
• Knowledge of ASD S1000D, Def-Stan 00-60, S2000M, ATA2-02-90
• Familiar with ASD-STE-100 Simplified Technical English
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use Enovia/Catia
• Proficient with Microsoft Office

Responsabilités

• Lead platform duties in Lead Author's absence and ensure work allocation
• Run the platform, liaise with Leonardo Project Manager on delivery issues
• Carry out authoring duties and other tasks as assigned
• Create parts data in EAGLE and produce technical documentation
• Maintain records and revisions with document control
• Support verification and validation of documentation
• Assess future work as detailed by Platform Lead
